What is Fuzzy Skin?

Fuzzy skin introduces random, small deviations in the outer wall toolpath, creating a rough, matte texture on the surface. This is useful for decorative purposes, creating grip surfaces, or hiding layer lines.

Fuzzy Skin Type

Parameter: fuzzy_skin
Options: None, Outside walls, All walls
Default: None
Description: Which walls to apply fuzzy skin effect to.

All walls	All perimeters are textured (stronger effect)

Fuzzy Skin Thickness

Parameter: fuzzy_skin_thickness
Unit: mm
Default: 0.3mm
Range: 0.1 - 2.0mm
Description: Maximum deviation distance from the original surface. Higher values = rougher texture.

Fuzzy Skin Point Distance

Parameter: fuzzy_skin_point_dist
Unit: mm
Default: 0.8mm
Description: Distance between random deviation points along the perimeter. Lower values = denser, finer texture.
